Pit's Kitchen is not just a place to stay
Pit's Kitchen is not just a place to stay. You also have the option to enjoy the amazing food including full breakfast options, and a gourmet three-course dinner should you choose to dine in at night. We can also provide picnic baskets on request. Many guests believe that healthy food as well as toxic-free living experience is a unique feature of their stay at Pit's Kitchen. Pit makes everything from cleaning products, hand wash, toilet spray to room spray. The bedroom has a diffuser with PIt’s sleep time blend of pure essential oils for guests as well.
Pit's Kitchen Eat & Retreat & Ocean View Mangawhai is located in Mangawhai Heads, approximately 90 minutes north of Auckland.
There are two accommodations for you to choose from, one is a self-contained one bedroom apartment downstairs which you will have your own beautiful German made kitchen fully equipped with Bosche combi-oven and stove. There is also a BBQ outside for your use and unlimited Wifi access.
The other accomodation is located on the top floor at the same property with a 180 degree ocean view, equiped with chef kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the outdoor fire on the sunrise deck.
Breakfast can include: organic breakfast granola, organic milk, organic fruits, organic bircher muesli (for summer), free-range local pasture raised eggs, baking goods and coffee/tea.
